Graff Leadership Centre in Lesotho

The FACET Foundation is excited to announce that the Graff Leadership Centre building in Lesotho is complete and that 37 girls moved into the hostel on 8th January 2011.  Within the Graff Leadership Centre, the populations targeted include teenage mothers, out-of-school youth, orphans and vulnerable children, teachers and principals, grandmothers looking after orphans and community members.  There are currently 150 modules of various leadership activities and programmes designed for the Centre including anti-AIDS clubs, six-day leadership camps and programmes specifically targeted at men and women such as three-day gender conferences.  There were approximately 8,000 people involved in these leadership activities in 2010.
